Who are the people behind this inspiring website?
"It takes two great female minds to come out with something this original" laughs Nyasha Gwatidzo, creator of FindABusinessMentor.com.
"I read an ezine by leading Wealth Coach & Internet Strategist, Nicola Cairncross saying that the best way to create abundance in your life was to profit from something you feel passionate about. I called Nicola up and she asked me what I felt passionate about and thinking about it I realised it was a lack of really successful business mentors for people starting in business".
Amazingly, Nicola had just worked with a client of hers to develop the software to match up one group of people looking for another group of people globally, in quite amazing levels of detail, and had just launched SuperMatch Software onto a test market.
And so Find A Business Mentor was born. First came THE BLOG and then the site itself.
Where did the idea of this come from?
Nyasha has been in business for over 20 years now and she feels it was been a lonely journey without mentors to bounce ideas around with and no support from anyone. She has searched for this kind of mentoring in her existing networks and was never successful.
In the past few years Nyasha has decided if you cannot find a service in the market place then the best thing is to create it, and therefore matching mentors with protégés become her mission and Find A Business Mentor become her answer to something she had personally always wanted.
What is the vision for this site?
This site is going to match ‘success with success’ and make the business journey less lonely for individuals who are brave enough to join the business club. This site is global - you do not need just your neighbours as your mentors, you can get support worldwide from someone in a related field, or the same industry even.
We need a global view as the world is getting smaller each day. The site opens up the way we communicate nowadays - from home often, in social networks.
It doesn’t matter where you are in the world - we can reach you through this site. Nicola and her team at Automated Marketing Machine are internet marketing experts and we will find you, as you search for a solution to your management, leadership and career challenges.
Nyasha is very keen that some of the proceeds from membership fees should got to benefit her favourite charity, The Vana Trust (www.vanatrust.org.uk)
